Since I wanted the cool comfort of sandals but also the protection of a closed shoe, I bought these and I love them. I have walked as much as two miles at a time in them--no socks, no blisters. I'm glad these came with removable insoles. I use my own custom-made ones. The insoles that came with the shoe don't give enough support under the arch.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes that I have tried. Using a heel lift requires a closed heel, which this has. Also, with the velcro closing for the strap it makes it easy to adjust.
