Fit for adventure. Chaco shoes revolve around four major concepts: fit, function, comfort and quality. Often considered by outdoor enthusiasts to be the gold standard in durability and simplicity, Chaco shoes provide high quality footwear without all the avoidable complications and without all the unnecessary hype. By eliminating all of these superfluous distractions, Chaco shoes are able to concentrate and really focus on what matters most – designing sandals and multi-sport shoes that inspire a lifelong commitment.
Located in a very small town in Colorado, Chaco shoes have been built and distributed all across the nation since 1989. Profoundly influenced by their hometown, Chaco shoes offer a simplicity that is rarely seen with today's overdeveloped, fad-following trends.
In fact, Paonia – the little town were Chaco shoes are located – has zero traffic lights and zero fast food restaurants. What it does have, however, are excellent hiking, climbing, paddling and mountain biking. This proximity to all things outdoors allows Chaco shoes to ensure the highest level of performance fit and all-day comfort. By living simply and connecting with the community, Chaco shoes are dedicated not only to improving outdoor footwear, but to improving the world in which we live. Enjoy our selection of Chaco shoes.
I really, really like my Chacos; this was my first pair and I will buy more. This being said, if you do not have a high arch or an arch in your foot, the first couple of wears are going to be miserable, but you get used to it and then they feel great. The all-over adjustments of the straps allows you to customize fit, which is wonderful. The footbed is textured and a little rough, so it can chafe the foot on long-distance walks.
I love the shoes. The break in period customizes the shoe to perfectly your foot. Takes only about 4 or 5 days. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.
Chacos rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my first pair and I will be thanking myself for this investment for many years to come!!!!! Mostly I use them for farming, hiking and biking activities -- they can withstand pretty much anything!
