I haven't worn boots in snowy conditions. I like these boots are leather and the indented little heel.

These are quality boots. I bought them to replace
an older, similar pair of Toe Warmers. These
are a bit narrower than my other pair in the same size. I ordered an 8W, should have tried the 8WW
this time.

I had a pair of Toe Warmer boots that the zipper broke after many years. The style I had was sold out in my size, so this pair looked similar. The look is great and can be worn with slacks without looking like boots. Great traction on snow and ice. The size is just a little too small (like the other pair I had), but these pinch my toes. I could not order a 1/2 size larger as I wear a 10, and a 10.5 is not available. I just wear thinner socks.
