Roomy enough to wear socks and they keep me warm.
They are made of man-made material (almost rubber like) and they clean easily. Lots of snow where we live and as long as it's not icy these boot get me around very well without slipping. The calf area is large and didn't know they had an extra zipped gusset for more room - won't need it anytime soon...

I thought this boot was beautiful, but I could not get it on because of how narrow it was. My foot is not abnormally wide. I wear normal shoes. so, unless you have the skinniest foot ever, don't buy the boot.
