I wanted an oxford with a leather sole, and got this shoe. I have a narrow foot, but realize that it's next to impossible to get oxfords in narrow. So I wear this shoe with a thick sock and my orthotics, and it works just fine. I have the taupe color, which is great with slacks, and the tan leather sole looks quite stylish. My other ulterior motive for wanting this shoe is to practice my tap dancing without the taps. That is the reason why leather soles are so important. I hesitated before buying this shoe because the photo looks like the toe of the sole curls upward; but in actually wearing it, the sole seems flat like any other oxford. These are definitely keepers.

I love Oxfords because I have very narrow heels and I can tighten them so my feet aren't constantly slipping. I also like this shoe because it has a leather sole - I am so tired of the rubber soled shoes. I also like that this is in taupe - goes with practically everything. And the bit of bling on the sole is a nice touch. I wear these shoes mainly with pants but will probably, in the future, try them with skirts,
