I should have listened to the customers reviews because these shoes aren't true to size. But I went ahead and ordered them anyway. It was terrible when I tried them on I couldn't get my foot all the way into the shoe.

I was sorry to have to return these shoes because they were attractive (off my foot), the leather was incredibly soft, and in theory they should have been a well-made shoe.

However, when I put them on, the heel and arch fit fine, but my toes felt like they were in a vise. I could actually see distinct outlines of my little toes through the leather, and lumps down the side for the others. I couldn't see any change in wide or size compensating for this, so I returned them.

Thought it was a nice looking shoe and was pleased with it when I received. Before I ordered, I read the earlier reviews and took into account some of the sizing problems other purchasers had. Even with the added width and length I ordered, it was too small. I am returning.

I do wish this shoe had fit as it was just what I was looking for. If it came in double wide, I would order that size and next size longer. This is the first time I've encountered any difficulty in size and I've bought many shoes from this vendor.

I have odd foot size/type--narrow, high arches, long toes, with arthritis & bone spurs. Hard to find shoes that fit without looking like my grandmother. These shoes fit very well; I bought Dr. Scholls arch inserts for my arches, and that did the trick for me. Am able to wear them several hrs at a time, before arthritis takes over. Stylish, they look great w/slacks, and also w/skirts. Picked up a couple of colors.

I absolutely loved these shoes, but finally mailed them back. The leather is gorgeous, supple and good quality. The fit is perfect in terms of proportions, which is remarkable as I am difficult to fit. The style is a classic, really "me." BUT the leather at the back (each heel) is extremely thin and unpadded, almost like raw leather, slick inside and with a tendency to collapse because of softness. So in spite of otherwise perfect fit, I couldn't keep them on my feet. Trying them going down our carpeted stairs, I almost fell as they began to slip off. I suspect they would also "grow" with time, stretching because of the very soft leather. Sadly, they had to be returned.
