[*] wider than what the width chart indicates. I ordered a C width and when I received the shoes they are marked N which is comparable to D width or medium. I had to add intersoles to compensate for the extra width.

While the insole is removable, the shoe isn't tall enough for an orthotic insert (being sized small isn't helpful for this either. The sole is showing visible wear after 3 weeks (~75 miles or so) of walking and wear. My main use is for work in a lab/business casual environment.
