Comments about Martino Women's Polar 5" Winter Boot:
This is the first pair of winter boots that I've owed that was able to get me through the slushy snow that we sometimes get in Chicago. My socks are bone dry and my feet are warm. This winter has started off a little rough and I feel like this boot will be able to carry my through the storm!

Comments about Martino Women's Polar 5" Winter Boot:
I consistently wear a 12W, which was not available. I risked it and bought a 13 (normal width), hoping to get the width I needed since other reviewers indicated this boot runs a little small. Glad I went for the 13 because the length fit like a comfortable 12. They are a little narrower than I typically buy, but the extra size up helped to compensate. I agree that they run a slighty small, so I would recommend going larger.
They are comfortable, but definitely not sturdy like a hiking boot or true snow boot. I wouldn't say they have the best support for lots of walking, but more that they are good to wear during rainy, snowy, slushy weather when you're walking back and forth between indoors and outdoors. They really look and feel more like a shoe than a boot. My pants cover them pretty well, so I don't necessarily feel like I have to change into my normal heels in an office environment. It's the perfect boot to wear to the office or mall during bad weather.

I love the boots....the fact that they come in narrow is a plus for me.....I haven't gotten shoes/boots in a long time that actually fit.

Comments about Martino Women's Polar 5" Winter Boot:
I love this shoes! My size is 5.5 M. I ordered have size bigger (6.0 M) to wear with wool socks and it feels very comfortable.
It's light, worm and made from high quality leather. I was wearing it in the wet snow (32 degrees) and it is water - resistant. Inside (for example - in the mall)it does not feel so hot, just worm.

Comments about Martino Women's Polar 5" Winter Boot:
It hasn't snowed much yet but I've been wearing these boots around town and to work. There was no break-in period, they're supportive enough to wear all day and easy to put on and remove. These will be perfect for the long, cold Utah winter.
