Merrells have a consistant good fit and support. Since I have a wide foot, I get a half size larger.

They are very comfortable and versatile.

I have somewhat wide feet (on the metal foot sizer thingy at shoes stores, I'm a 11.5 EE). Before ordering this pair of shoes I ordered 6 others (wides) online or by catalog and returned them because they didn't fit right (all too tight). I also tried finding shoes at 3 or 4 shoe stores....nothing fit right. These Merrells (11.5 Wides) fit perfectly and felt comfortable right out of the box. I have another pair of Merrells that fit exactly the same. Merrell seems to be one of the only companies that makes shoes consistently and accurately sized.
