Good shoes for around town wear. Removeable insole. Comfortable especially since I put my own orthotics in them. I have several pairs of Merrell shoes and these seem a bit wider than others. The brindle is mostly grey with a very slight greenish cast trimmed with a greyish brown. I would not wear them on a hiking trail or to work. I would take them on a trip that involved a lot of sightseeing and walking. I think they look good for a lace-up casual shoe.
