Comments about New Balance Men's M730 Running Shoe:
I wanted to try minimalist running, but had a hard time finding minimalist shoes for my very wide feet. I typically wear 4e wide running shoes, but these shoes in 2e fit perfectly. They are so flexible that they should accomodate all sorts of foot widths.
These shoes are extremely light. The soles are very thin. It feels like I am wearing socks or light slippers. The material is a bit stretchy, so you can tighten them up however you like.
These might not look like minimalist shoes in pictures, but they really are. They feel very similar to New Balance's Minimus line. I highly recommend these for people with wide feet that want to try this type of running.
By the way, they almost look just like normal shoes. I like that. I have no desire to wear funny looking shoes, like the Vibram Five Fingers.

When I wear these running shoes I feel like I am walking on air. It's really difficult to take them off because they are so comfortable.
