I was looking for gym shoes that would let my feet move naturally and that had little rise from heel to toe. These fit that bill perfectly. They are super comfortable and super flexible. My only minor complaint is that the tongue is weird (short and sewn a bit strange) and has taken a little playing with to get comfortable.
