This is my second pair of the Echelon 2. They are AWESOME! I have a high arch and mild pronation and these are the perfect shoe for me. my first pair seems to have held up well and I am now using them for my outside walking shoe and saving the new ones just for the gym. Was having arch and heel pain prior to buying my first pair and the moment I put these on it was GONE. When I first started using the first pair on the treadmill it was rubbing the back of my foot and got it a bit raw. I think this was because my sock did not come up high enough. Because everything else about them was so perfect I worked through it and it has not been a problem since and with this pair have not had the problem at all. that issue was not enough for me to lower the rating.

I bought this product to use with my arch supports but it does provide an internal arch so they are not necessary. I bought them for the flexibility of use, for kick boxing, side to side aerobics, running, Zumba, cycling. I am so active, I need to wear my arch supports every few days to stretch out the muscles so I thought it would be in my best interest.
My last Omni's seemed to wear down faster and I thought they were too wide, but I trust this brand as this is my 3rd pair, this model was a little narrower for my use which is what I was looking for. I always have to order them 1/2 size larger to fit properly, no big deal. :-)

Work out 3-4 times per week and walk the other days. Have problems with ball of the foot and finding shoes that address this problem is difficult. This is my third pair of Saucony and they are always comfortable.
