I'll admit, I bowed to daughter's pressure to get these sneakers. Actually, this is our 2nd pair. We had the misfortune of her foot growing too fast on pair #1. So, I ordered these and asked my daughter 46 different ways if they were comfortable and fit. Dazzled by the flashing lights, she blithefully told me they were great. A week later, she started requesting her old sneakers. When I asked why she told me the Twinkle Toes were uncomfortable. Since they fit length-wise, I'm left to conclude they are narrow or just designed for a smaller foot. For the record, know that my daughter has never had trouble with any shoe. I've never bought her a wide width shoe and I've been able to buy shoes from department stores to discount stores without a problem. She even had another pair of Sketchers without incident. Her problems are limited to the Twinkle Toes line. Lucky for me, this has cured daughter of this current fad.
