      I wear orthotics and I usually get Mary Jane styles to keep my foot in the shoe. The strap on these was too far forward to do that. Every step I took my heel lifted out of the shoes. I had to send them back.

                        I have a narrow foot and saw previous review that they may be too wide but tried it anyway. With the strap and added a pad at the heel, they stay on my foot fine. Only one shoe rubs my foot after long hours of wear so maybe it is my foot that is the problem. Very comfortable for 6 hours or less. I bought the burgandy and love the color.
