When I recieved the shoes the color and style was beautiful but the fit was poor. The shoe is too wide and the strap was hard to figure out. I have not worn them yet and I need to ajust the strap.

Wow...wore these to work today. Have an office job but am on my feet a lot. After 10hrs feet felt great and looked cute. Love the hook on the strap closure. Am buying a second pair cause I know I'll kick myself (with a comfortable, stylish shoe on) if I don't.

I have been searching for a mid-heel strappy black leather sandal for years. I needed something that had a thick enough heel to be comfortable for long term wear. I travel extensively and need something that is stylish enough for work but comfortable enough to wear for days on end. Initially I was disappointed by the look of the leather, it looked like it was a synthetic material or just a cheap leather. However, after trying them on with an outfit they looked better. One item to note is that the ankle straps are not really adjustable, the metal of the buckle and the metal on the ankle strap link around each other (picture two hands cupping). This feature would be great for people who do not like to deal with small buckles, cannot do so due to arthritis, or someone like me who needs the ability to take their shoes off quickly in an airport security line. Definitely a winner and I am back to order two more pairs!
