Comments about Beacon Women's Newport Slip-On:
It is a beautiful shoe and when the AA was to wide I tried the AAAA because I really wanted to keep these shoes. However, the AAAA still slips off my heel when walking so I had to return them.

Comments about Beacon Women's Newport Slip-On:
Twenty years ago I owned an entire wardrobe of espadrilles. They are so comfortable. I've resisted buying espadrilles lately because I have VERY narrow feet and I just knew they wouldn't fit. Then, while leafing through the shoe catalog I noticed that Beacon makes an espadrille in SS width. My opportunity had arrived, so I ordered a pair of the multi-colored canvas shoes. Fortunately, I had read the reviews and noted that the shoes seemed wider than their stated width. With that in mind, I ordered the SS width, but ordered a half size smaller in length. The results were perfect. The shoes were a little short in the length when I first put them on, but they are made of canvas, so they stretch quite easily. These are very comfortable and forgiving shoes. The heel is a perfect height and the arch hits my foot in exactly the right place. The fabric gives to accommodate my foot length making them feel almost as if they were custom made just for me!! I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Comments about Beacon Women's Newport Slip-On:
Although they were extra wide, they were still not wide enough, even though I have other shoes that are just a wide width that fit fine. Took them to a shoemaker to see if they could stretch them ($9) but they are still too tight and I haven't worn them.

I bought the flats in the same pattern and color and they are great. The heeled ones slip off the back of my foot.

I am a teacher, on my feet for hours at a time. I love these shoes because I can wear them every day. And, they go with everything because they are so colorful.

Comments about Beacon Women's Newport Slip-On:
I love these shoes. They are so comfortable and just dressy enough to wear with a skirt or slacks, but not feel too dressed up. I have a foot problem--Morton's neuroma--that frequently causes me pain. While wearing these shoes I did not experience that problem, which makes them an even better, more versatile purchase than I originally expected.

Comments about Beacon Women's Newport Slip-On:
I have a S2 heel and most manufacturers seems to make narrow type shoes on the wider side but not this Beacon manufacturer. The S2 is straight through very very narrow with a tiny toebox. My forefoot is a narrow, midfoot is a slim. It's possible that there narrow may fit me.
