I ordered an 8 even thought I wear a 7.5 because I wanted to wear heavier socks. I couldn't fit in the 8 even without socks. The leather on the cuff of one boot was smooth and the other was wrinkled or distressed. I'll try again with an even larger size and hope the leather issue was a fluke. Otherwise they are a nice looking boot.
