          This shoe fits much better than the Clarks bootie I bought last year. Lsst year's "narrow" was too wide. I like that I can adjust the snugness with the laces and that still I have the side zipper for easy on and off. The finish doesn't scuff so I don't need to polish it.

              I have returned the boots: with almost no cushioning and little room for added inserts, they do not serve for slightly more dressy urban footware. The leather is smoother than appears in the photo and the contrast stitching is more prominent than I expected. It was thus not only uncomfortable but not "cute" enough to keep.
