I normally wear a 6.5 Medium shoe and I had to exchange this boot for a size 7 Medium, which fits perfectly. I love the boot. Very comfortable and will go with many casual outfits, will be great with jeans and maybe skirts. The leather is a bit stiff and the shoe has a very rugged look, slightly 'clunky', but super-comfortable. I look forward to wearing them!

    I already had the tall orinocco boots in black from last year, so these are what I was expecting for the most part. With the very loose ankle, the stretch there seems unnecessary. I am glad for the strap that can be tightened. I prefer my tall boots and have a hard time getting used to the looseness around the ankle on these shorter styles. Socks have to be just right for my heel to stay in place while walking.

      I really like this boot and loved the taupe color. I wear a 6.5 Medium shoe and it felt tight in the width and length...I returned it, but I'm considering re-ordering a size 7 M. The leather is quite stiff and not at all soft or supple..not sure if it will soften over time.

        I am so pleased with these boots. You can dress them up or down and wear them anywear! Fine craftsmanship & thick leather say they're made to last. The rubber sole is good for most any surface, as I walk daily. Very important to me was the fact the I didn't have to "break them in" for extended wear. They were comfortable from the start. I have always fluctuated between a size 9 & 9 and 1/2. I definitely recommend going the larger size if you hover between sizes as I do. You'll love these boots!
