      The shoe is comfortable to wear the first time. Good cushioning. Many of Clark's shoes run narrow and have a close fitting heel which is good. I normally wear a 9 1/2 3A or 4A; however, Clark's doesn't make that width, but I've found that many of their shoes run narrow. I just added a little padding under that ball of the foot. Wear these for dress casual with hose. Would not work well with socks.

          Love this shoe. I had to exchange the narrow for a medium width, but the medium fits perfectly. The insert cushions each step. I am elderly, so I use this shoe for all my comings and goings. Pretty enough for any activity, and comfortable enough to wear every day.

                    I needed a brown loafer and liked that these were not plain and boring (I got the dk brown patent croc print). I was very happy when I opened the box as these have just the right amount of "sassy" without going overboard. Compared to the other Clarks shoes I own, these are a little tight in the width, and don't have any extra length. Good thing I don't plan to wear with socks - however I would recommend ordering a wider width if you are. Good support, good heel, and I love the color. I'm happy!

                      These low-heeled shoes are really comfortable yet look quite nice and not dowdy. I learned a long time ago that patent leather will wear longer than rather leather. I typically wear shoes like this for work and travel and find them suitable for nearly all occasions. The only thing that would make them better and longer wearing would be leather soles...but manufacturers don't use these much anymore. All in all a great find!
