            Size was true, but although I ordered a wide, seemed more like a narrow. I typically order a B-medium width, but reviews said they run narrow, so I order a wide. Still didn't seem like a wide. Returned them. Liked the style and that they were water resistant.

                      I own several pairs of Clarks shoes and sandals. I've always found them to fit perfectly and feel comfortable from day one. So, I felt very confident buying these. I returned them as they felt so stiff and uncomfortable I couldn't imagine wearing them through a break-in period.

                        My podiatrist told me I needed to get some lace-up shoes for my othopedic inserts. I bought some Columbia hiking shoes and they were SOOO heavy. I saw these on line and since I could order Wide, and I know the reputation of Clarks, I thought I would try them. They were perfect from day one. I want them in different colors now.

                              I followed review advice and chose a wider width. It still was too narrow across ball of foot & toe box. I normally wear narrow for my heel but bought a medium. Manufacturer needs to reasses its width sizing on this shoe. Normally Clarks fit me wonderfully. I'm stuck with a walking shoe which causes blisters and bad rubbing.
