I always take a 6 1/2 but got the 6 because they only come in whole sizes and it fits perfectly lengthwise. The left sandal seemed a little narrow to begin with but seems fine now so I'm going to order another color.

These sandals are better than their others; they are a little more narrow in the width, which is good since other crocs are kind of wide. These are comfy, and with the little bit of a heel, better for my feet

Finally, Crocs put out an item that is moderately stylish to wear with dresses or dress pants. However, as comfortable and stylish as they are, I find that I would walk right out of them. Walking around the living room was a chore, so walking anywhere else would be impossible. Too bad...I figured these would be great for travel: light, easy to pack and washable (means they always look fresh and new!). Alas, not for me....
