I remember these from when I was in middle school and have always wanted to get a pair. These are great shoes. They can take a bit to break in but all doc martins are this way once they are broke in though they are a dream. About 3 months after I got these (and these are my everyday shoes, I wear them EVERYDAY) I caught the bottom of the buckle (the flat part attatched to the DM horseshoe)caught on something and snapped off. I wish that DM were still made in the UK since they are now made in [*] they are not as percise as they once were.

these shoes are so cute and i get a lot of compliments on them. they did take awhile to break in. the heels are very stiff. i had to wear bandaids with extra padding for about the first 3-4 times i wore them. i had forgotten that i also had to do this with a pair of dr. marten boots i had years ago also. it took a few wearings but now i have acutally gotten to where i don't even need to unstrap them to get them on. they are adorable and very comfortable. i would highly recommend them.

These are really cool looking shoes. I'd been wanting to get them for many years and finally was able to. They are overall comfortable except for the heel. Takes a while to get used to but I will continue to wear them until they feel comfortable.
