                  This looks like a well-made shoe, but I had to return it. I wear a B width, and the heel of the shoe seemed too loose on the sides. It's a stiff-soled shoe, so any looseness in the heel will cause it to slip up and down, especially when new. The main reason I returned it, however, was that the toe box tapers inward more than my other shoes of the same size & width (New Balance, LL Bean). I know that the style pendulum is swinging toward shoes with more pointed toes again, but this one tapers enough to make it uncomfortable for me.

                        I'm a regional bus driver. I've had difficulties getting the right fit, because I have a narrow flat foot. I've worn custom arch support since 1980. Most shoes and boots are not designed for custom supports or changes in sock densities. These Drews adapt the best I've ever had. The flat sole provides safe working around and in/out of buses [no heel to catch on steps!]. And, the soles appear to have very good traction on difficult surfaces. I'm looking forward to wearing them daily for several months. I'll update my comments then.
