THIS SHOE HORN WORKS GREAT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SANDED AROUND THE EDGES BEFORE IT WAS PAINTED. THE EDGES ARE JAGGED, AND IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL, YOU CAN CUT YOURSELF. IN FACT, I MYSELF AM GOING TO GET MY HUSBAND TO SAND MINE DOWN EVEN THOUGH IT'LL TAKE SOME OF THE FINISH OFF JUST SO I WON'T CUT MYSELF ANY MORE!

I am returning it because this thing is made from metal, and it's cold. Of course it works, I mean it's just a shoe horn. But why can't the material be plastic or wood which feels better on your skin. I am getting old, and I have little annoyances and having cold metal touching my heels before I start my day in the morning happens to to one of them so I am returning it.
