First, I have plantar fasciitis--it's under control with the use of custom orthotics that I always put in boots, so I order my boots a size bigger. That seemed to work for this pair. I had been looking for a mid-calf boot to tuck skinny jeans and leggings into, because I'm kind of sick of the tucked-in knee-high boot that you see everywhere. These boots are very cute and appearance-wise just what I was looking for, but they are very hard to get on. It takes a lot of tugging and wiggling--but they will go on. They are pretty comfortable once they're on. The reason for the difficulty is that the zipper is just for show. I so prefer boots with zippers. It's also much easier for keeping things tucked in right. So many of the mid-calf boots I tried were pull-ons and also had the drawback of being too big or floppy around the calf (and I have very big calves--this is just a style issue--I'm not going for a Puss-in-Boots look here). So try these if you want a pair of cute boots, but be prepared to struggle to get them on.

These are beautiful, well-made, sexy, VERY stylish boots! Love them! But....my foot would not even go into this boot. I wish it had a functional zipper and that the toe-box was designed with more room. Sadly, I had to return them. I would recommend ordering a size larger and for someone with tiny toes!
