I've worn Florsheim side zip boots for 35 years. They are one of the few makers that makes a 'narrow' width in addition to regular and wide. These particular boots use a nice soft leather, have a classic design and intermediate heel height. Great looking, and very comfortable. The Bergundy color is very rich looking.

Unfortunately now that most shoe production has migrated to the Dominican Republic the only widths available to me were B (much too narrow) or D which requires an insert to help take up the additional space. Next time I'll buy the more expensive shoe since the uppers seem to be more of a veneer than totally leather.
