    This slipper caused quite a sensation in my HMO doctor's office. Literally. I am a diatetic with the usual foot complications. I have Edema, very high instep PLUS Charcot Foot (a diabetic deformity). This slipper is FANTASTIC!!! I wore it to my usual diabetic foot exam. The nurses were mazed by this slipper and how adaptable it is for diabetic foot conditions. During my foot exam, several nurses were coming in to look at the slipper. Really. The lead nurse wanted to know where I got it. I told her. I had a follow-up appt with my own doctor a few months later. He told me that all the diabetic nurses are now told to suggest this exact slipper (and website) to their diabetic patients. It's great! I wear it everywhere. Unless someone looks really hard at it, it almost looks like a shoe. Note: It does run SLIGHTLY large.

      Since I wear an ankle-foot orthotic (AFO) on one foot, I always have a hard time finding shoes that fit both feet. These slippers solved that problem with their dual velcro size adjustments; now I can custom fit both slippers to their respective feet and have a good fit all around. Only had them for a week or so, so can't comment on durability, but so far they meet or exceed my expectations. And solve a long-standing problem . . .

        my husband needed more support than moscassin style slippers were giving him for his pronated ankles and cushion enough for his neuropathy problems and he has been for a couple of months now enjoying the comfort these slippers have been proving him. it's the velcro ties that enable him to properly secure the slippers to his size 13med feet

            We bought these slippers for my father who was having issues with swollen feet and calves. The slippers are adjustable, so they fit him when he was swollen, and also now when he is not. They are so durable, he actually wore them indoors and out, as if they were real shoes, until he could fit back in his shoes. A real lifesaver!

            My feet swell a lot. This is the only shoe that I have found that is wide enough to accommodate the swelling (Wide width). Recently bought second pair in Medium width because swelling has decreased, but not enough for a regular shoe. Now I have a comfortable shoe to wear regardless of the amount of swelling.
