          LUV LUV LUV this mid-heel mule!!! Wide foot here- Nearly impossible to fit. This is PERFECT in a 9.5. Tried it 1/2 size smaller 1st- What a difference the 1/2 size up makes: Complete transformation in fit/comfort! My foot now sits SOOO comfortably in the shoe-bed. These shoes look absolutely RICH- On-line photo doesn't do it justice- It's visually STUNNING in real-life. 2" heel gives me the leg-lengthening I want, without ANY foot, leg or back pain- I literally wear mine for 12+ hours/day in total, blissful comfort! Unmatched FRYE craftsmanship- Leather, sole, & heel are very thick & made-to-last. A must-have, wear with everything, basic black, mid-heeled mule! I've tossed all my "almost fit" other black shoes... SOOO happy to have a single pair of quality shoes that REALLY FIT & feel great! [...] If you are at all on the fence about this shoe, BUY IT! PS- I also have this in the BOOT version (Harness 12R)- Likewise, it's INCREDIBLE- Same sz (9.5), decadent comfort during ALL-DAY wear!

                I do not have a western personality but I LOVE these "boots". They are very smart-looking. Square toe is quite flattering to my larger feet. I did need to order 1/2 size down as some reviewers suggested. Foot is fitted but the thick leather and soft footbed adjust to you quickly. I don't think I would do long hikes in these but I am amazed by how comfortable they are. Leather is dyed all the way through so they resist scuffing. My sister-in-law has had these for many years, replaced the heel bottom but the body of the shoe still looks great.
