Finally Keen came out with a design that makes sense for my problem. I have to wear orthoducts as a supplement to their interior shoe surface. I tried orthos in my old Keens but they slipped out the back. With the new Arroyo design this has been solved by including a back "retainer" at the heel. I've tried them in water and they worked out great. Also they run narrow, so if you have a narrower foot these are the ones to buy.

Third pair of Keens. Replaced my old Keen Taos. I did like the insert of the Taos better. It was somewhat more comfortable and did not cause my feet to sweat as much (ok...that also means my feet smell worse in the Arroyos than the Taos). And I've tested the Arroyo against the Taos (as I kept the Taos for use in the garden vs. the new Arroyos which are my everyday casual shoes)...and my feet sweat more and get smellier in the Arroyo II. That being said, of the Keen styles on the market today, the Arroyo II is most similar to the Taos...and I'll take that style even with the smellier result.
