I thought these boots looked chic and stylish on the site but when I got them, they just seemed kind of boring and flat. I did not like the way the boots looked on me as they looked too manish. They are nicely made boots but I think they probably look better in a smaller size ( I wear size 9). The shaft is high, up to the knee which I liked. I was looking for a stylish flat boot because flat boots are hot this fall and I wear a lot of heels. These boots just did not do it for me thouigh. They were just ordinary and the leather of these boots lacked the high shine that I like to see in a leather boot. I sent these back in lew of a flat boot with more pizzazz.
