Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
I ordered this boot in extra wide but it was still too narrow for me, which is unfortunate, as boots are so difficult to locate in extra wide. I won't order this brand again since their styles don't seem to be sized accurately.

Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
This is a perfect boot for women with wide calves and a narrow foot. Good materials and well-made. My only complaint is that the boot is a little bulky at the ankle and gives the appearance of a lower-quality pull-on boot. I will try lacing the boot a little differently.

Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
I liked these boots at first. After the 2nd or 3rd day, they didn't feel as comfortable. I need a wide width and a wide calf. The wide C width is not wide enough so they pinch after a couple of hours. Also, the calf is not that wide. I need an 18 inch. They bunch a little at the ankle; and they could be higher on the leg. I'm average height at 5'5 so it's not an issue of being tall. I love wearing boots with knee length skirts but these are a little short. The style is cute with the lace back. I prefer suede boots and it's very hard to find in wide calf, size 11, wide width. I'll keep trying.

Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
I normally wear a 7 W in shoes, sometimes a 7WW. I needed a 7.5 WW in these boots. Mostly because I wanted room for thicker socks if I needed them. I think with just tights a 7WW would have been ok after they broke in a bit. For an extra wide width boot though I do feel they run a bit narrower than expected and maybe even a half size small.
However, I have 17" calves and I can wear these boots comfortably due to the lacing up the back. The laces are also elastic cording, so they allow a bit of stretch as well. I always wear these boots with jeans or leggings tucked into them and they look great-the corset style lacing adds a nice detail and they look sexy! I wear them to ride my motorcycle and for casual wear. I've even worn them with a skirt and tights. They are warm, but my feet never get sweaty and since the leather is treated you can wear them in snow and rain not have to worry about stains on your boots. They wipe clean easily! GET THESE BOOTS, they are worth EVERY penny!

I love that the calf size can be adjusted with the laces. I just have to remember to double knot them so they don't slip while I am wearing them.

Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
This is a beautiful boot for all the stated reasons, plus the flexibility of adjusting the calf width to accommodate calves or pant legs! BUT, the toe box is extremely narrow relative to the heel. I ordered the Wide, and found the heel on the loose side but the toes way too narrow for me. Now I'm debating whether to try the Extra Wide. I'm afraid it will be too loose in the heel.

Comments about Martino Women's Back Lace Boot:
I can't believe these boots have no reviews! I'm happy to be the first. :-) Let me start by saying that I already have a pair of these in dark brown that I purchased over a year ago from another retailer and I LOVE them sooooo much that I decided I should spring for another pair in black.
I normally wear a 7W in shoes/boots but often buy an extra wide (WW) whenever possible to allow for room for thick socks or a cushioned insert - the brown pair I have is a 7.5WW and it is a little longer/wider than it needs to be for me, so I ordered this new black pair in a 7WW. Well...they are too small! They seem a LOT narrower than my other pair and quite a bit shorter in the toe area (and yes, they are EXACTLY the same style and brand). I will be exchanging them for a 7.5WW because I simply have to have these in black. I didn't think a half size would make such a huge difference in fit. Guess I was wrong (or Martino changed their sizing?)
By the way, for your reference; I have 17" calves and I can wear these boots over skinny jeans! How awesome is that?! Do yourself a favor and splurge on a pair of these boots. :-D I get compliments whenever I wear them and I wear them A LOT!
