they are a little tight in the heel for use with a custom orthotic even with the insert supplied out of the shoe
but... Merrill makes the best shoe not many like merrill shoes my last pair lasted at least 5 yrs with my my wearing them A LOT!!!

The Merrell Slip Ons are the greatest for comfort and everyday wear. When I fly they slip off going thru Security and are back on in a second.
You simply can't beat these shoes.
