    I have six pairs of Merrell shoes and love all of them. I was looking for a "business casual" comfortable shoe. The styling of this shoe fits that bill. But I had to return them because they cut into my ankle bone. The back part of the shoe that comes around the heel and under the ankle is higher than usual and cuts underneath my ankle bone making it painful. If you have low ankle bones like me, you might want to be careful with this particular shoe. Concerning size, I find I always need to go down a half size with Merrell's, but I have a small foot so this may not apply to others.
