I have the brown and they are fine. The black boots finally came in my size and received yesterday. The dye bleeds and one lace hole on each boot is missing so they can't be laced properly. Easy fix for the local shoe repair and I wouldn't even mind the additional cost for these boots, they're so cute. However, because of the dye problem, I will probably send them back. I had the same problem with the matching purses - both brown and black. It was so disappointing because this is such a comfortable and darling style. I really liked the black purse. But what good are purses and shoes if they get dye on you and your clothes? Oh well, they're only shoes, right? :) Not important. The store will reimburse the shipping to send back so they are pretty cool that way.

    I really like these. I wish the black were available in my size. I have the brown and they are nice with the fringe purse to match. Now I need more clothes to go with them but they are great with denim. The black is available on other sites. You have to work with them to figure out how to get them on and off easily. Just loosen the ankle a bit.

    These boots are extremely cute and comfortable. I ordered the brown and the sizing is perfect. I usually wear a 6-1/2 or 7 and the 7 was great. I didn't like the difficulty in putting on and taking off at first but figured out very easily how to loosen up the laces in the ankle area and this makes it a breeze. My calves are chunky but these fit nicely and make my legs look pretty good. They look good with knee length denim skirts or many skirts. I'm looking forward to receiving the matching purse on backorder.

        I have to unlace these in order to put them on or take them off. There's not much cushion and I have flat feet so I use insoles. I usually wear an 8 or 8-1/2 and I got a size 9 which fits fine. The color bleeds so I only wear these with dark jeans and dark tights/socks. Other than that, these are really cute!
