      I wanted a pair of sturdy sandals with good traction for pushing my Mom around in a wheelchair. (Had a bad experience slipping on a hill with sandals that were good walking sandal, except for the shallow treads.) These are great. I put them on and quickly forgot I was wearing new shoes. No problems pushing the chair up slopes in the park.

The very day they arrived, I wore them on our 3-mile walk with our dogs. I didn't have any issues with them, which didn't surprise me since I have been purchasing Minnetonka sandals for years. This sandal is not my most stylish Minnetonka that I own, but I love this particular Minnetonka specifically as my dog-walking summer sandal. I also own some very cute Minnetonka sandals as my summer "going out" sandals. You will not be disappointed to try a Minnetonka sandal!
