I ordinarily love Naturalizer shoes and feel confident they will fit when I order a pair sight-unseen. These were an exception. Due to peculiar construction, the toe of the shoe tipped up, so that when I put them on and stood in front of a full-length mirror, I looked like an elf or a leprechaun. Very odd! With regret, I returned them.

I actually haven't used the shoes yet. I bought them because I need a dressy looking flat shoe that packs fairly flat for a trip to India. I have silver sandals for the Hindu wedding and a pair of good walking shoes, but I needed on additional pair of dressier shoes to wear with my Indian Salwar Kameez and my black dressy pants for evenings. I don't wear high heels. These pack flat. I wish they were narrower, but the straps will keep the shoes on my feet and I'm not using them for serious walking...just to restaurants, an engagement celebration and to a "henna" party for female relatives of the bride and groom.

I usually take a 9, but the 8 1/2 had plenty of toe room. An 8 would have worked too. I often walk out of the back of a closed shoe, but the elastic straps help a lot in keeping the shoes on my narrow feet.

These shoes will be perfect to travel with since they are comfortable, don't weigh much, and fit together nice and flat for packing.

I would have bought them in brown, but they don't seem to make the narrow width.
