I loved these boots even more once I got them than I did when I saw them online. The color online kind of makes them look bright and flashy, like brassy. Once I got them out of the box, they were a more practical tan. They are beautiful high quality boots. The leather is soft and looks very expensive. I love the color because it is neutral and can match many things. The left boot was a little tight around the pinky toe area but it stretched to comfort throughout the day. They are so beautiful and comfortable that I didn't want to take them off. I immediately started thinking of new ways to wear them. The only draw back I can find is that the heel has no grip. I slipped a few times on slick surfaces (tile, linoleum) Also, the calf is fairly wide but there are adjustable buckles. There is also room to add a few more holes if you want the boot that tight which will also give it a bunched up look you may like. I personally like the wideness. The boot has a very nostalgic wild west look and feel. A break from the typical cowboy boot.
