My primary consideration in purchasing this shoe was the fact that it advertised as being waterproof. I'm headed to Britain and Ireland in a couple of weeks and one of the suggestions for this trip is to have comfortable and waterproof walking shoes. I can vouch that the shoes are comfortable, but haven't had an opportunity to verify that they are waterproof.

I've worn the shoes daily while walking the dog (twice a day, one mile/walk) and they are very comfortable. The temperature outside was in the 35-55 degree range during these walks. The past couple of days the temperature has been in the mid-70's, and I've noticed that the shoes do seem a little warm at times. I'm assuming that this may be due to the waterproof attributes of the shoes. Right now, I don't see this as a big concern, but it may be when summer time gets here.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. The shoes look good , they're comfortable and fit well. No break-in period required as I wore them for several hours the first time I put them on.

This is my third pair of this model. I have B width feet and find it hard to find narrow shows. These fit great and I even play casual outdoor basketball in them. A lot of times shoes fit at first, then get loose after wearing them. These hold up and provide support.

I use the shoes for everyday wear.
I have difficulty finding comfortable shoes, but these are probably the most comfortable i have purchased in recent years.
This is the third pair that I have worn. My only complaint about the shoes is that the leather top has separated from the sole on both of the pairs. Since they were under warranty in both instances, the shoes were replaced free of charge.
Returning the shoes was relatively hassle free.
