        Because of foot problems, my chiropractor recommended I get New Balance shoes.as they will hold my feet better. Also since I have a narrow foot it is difficult to find good shoes in a narrow fit. I use them for walking, doing my exercises and daily wear around the house. I never have to remove them because of tired feet, they are so comfortable. This is the second pair of 554s that I have bought.

        Until now, I've been very satisfied with this model shoe. I was very disappointed to find the quality has changed. The pair I ordered recently was NOT stable and the footbed was much stiffer - I felt like I was fighting the shoe to walk my normal walk! I sent them back with a complaint.

          I walk miles in these sneakers on NYC strets and don't even feel it. I have trid sevreal new balance walking sneakers and love these the most. I ordered several paairs over the last few yars so that I have back ups. I have what my Dr. describes as a designer bump on my left foot from years of wearing designer heels to work. That is why I need sneakers with a wide width. THESE FIT THE BILL... These sneaks are ATTRACTVE with shorts, capris, and leggings. THEY ARE SUPER COMFORTABLE and light weight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
