Has a great tred and will be good on wet surfaces, rocks and uneven ground. It is a bit heavy and is not a glove-like fit, but I will trade that for the better traction on slippery/sandy surfaces. Looks good and nice laces. Material seems substantial and good quality.

I ordered a narrow size and these shoes are still very wide. The inserts stopped about an inch and a half from the toe of the shoe and are extremely thin and flimsy. You will need custom inserts w/this shoe. It looks nice but offers no cushioning or arch support and isn't true to size (width). It has to go back.
