My doctor highly recommended that I reduce the weight of the purse I was carrying. I carried everything in it. I made the decision to reduce things alot and bought this purse. I thought it would be difficult to have such a small purse, but find I like it alot. It helped me reduce all the things I was carrying unnecessarily and be very organized and lightweight. I highly recommend it.
