I can remember when Ros Hommerson shoes were very well-made and actually fit my very narrow foot. I somehow think that I previously ordered the shoe and returned it for the same reason.....it was w-a-y too wide. Shame on me for selecting it again. If it had been true to size, I would be delighted. As it was, I immediately reboxed it for return.

Bought these for our daughter who lives out of town, has lots of trouble finding dress shoes that are dressy & adaptable , wears a very slim size & styles are not the best in these sizes.
She likes the size of heel, the neat elastic design across the instep which helps it to fit her foot better. sometimes the heels are too wide for slimmer feet these seem to work out just fine.

Most comments on these shoes said "You can wear them right away", "Didn't need to brake them in". Great for travel. Well..... I never got to find out if they were comfortable because they were so loose in the arch and heel. I wear a AAA width.
I'm use to shoes not fitting in the heel but never in the arch. I wish there was more AAA cute shoes to choose from!

I now own 5 pairs of this style and brand of shoe.This is the first shoe that ever fit my foot well.
I have since learned that you have discontinued this shoe. At your suggestion, I called Ros Hommerson to request that they continue the manufacturing of this style shoe. There reply was "it is a little more complicated than that. It seems that your parent company makes all the decisions on what is put into your various catalogs. The parent company dictates to the manufactures what to make. They DID NOT request that this shoe be made again. Ros Hommerson has no decision in this. They manufacture shoes as dictated by your parent company. Please pass this message along to the decision makers and plead that they put this shoe BACK IN YOUR CATALOG. Thanks.

The Elton flat is a very attractive style, and it comes in a 4A width; however, the toe box was too tapered, and that area was too tight. A wider size would not have worked because the shoe fit very well in the heel and the rest of the shoe. The stretchy fabric was placed in an appropriate part of the shoe which would help if a person has bunions. The footbed was cushioned.
