My daughter is a teenager and she has alot of books. The last backpack was great. It was very big and had alot of pockets and the material was thick. This backpack was small and the material was flimsy.

I bought this backpack for my 6 year old daughter, who just started 1st grade. She carries her 1 1/2 inch binder and her lunch box in it and there is room for extra stuff that she brings home! She loves it!!! (as do I) and no one in school has a backpack like hers!!! :)

I bought this for my 16 year old daughter. She loves it. The design is cool. It fits her better than a lot of backpacks, because she is kind of short and most back packs would hang so low even after being cinched up, that she would have to hunch forward to hold it up. but this one fits much better.
