I actually have purchased this bag for my daughter who is in her mid-20's. I can't wait to give it to her, because she is going to love it! It's not to big, but has room to hold all the items she needs to carry. The cross-over style is her perfect style because she can secure it across her and not worry while walking her dog or carrying books between classes.

The front zipper pockets not large enough to hold much and the purse was smaller than anticipated. Probably my fault for not reading the description more closely. Overall, very nice little purse though and I am happy with the quality of materials.
