I bought these shoes for my nine year old grandson to start school in. First, they are blue and second and most important, they have Velcro closures, which is a must for him at school.(He does not seem to be the least bit interested in learning to tie shoes.)Don't know about the durability yet,as he has just started to wear them.But,he has had similar sketchers and they held up really well, so i'm sure these will do the same.They are a really nice pair of shoes. We are very pleased with them and the price.
