                I purchased these for my 5 year old after having her measured at the Stride Rite Store previously. She is very happy with them as she is able to put them on herself, which of course makes me happy. I have to agree with the Sales Consultant at the Stride Rite Store that the girl's version of this shoe does NOT change colors as well as the boys. Even though they don't change color as well as the boy's shoe they are still what you would expect from Stride Rite. I haven't heard anything about them being uncomfy as she would tell me.
