I have owned many brands of hiking and outdoor boots, but for my money the Rivas are the best of the breed. They are light yet rugged, comfortable and stylish. As a diabetic with foot problems I find I can spend the entire day hiking and photographing nature with no discomfort or fatigue at all. Excellent footwear that I will certainly buy again.

My husband is handicapped and cannot walk very well, especially on uneven surfaces. We ordered these because of the high tops, expecting them to help support his ankle when he walks outdoors. Amazingly, they are so comfortable and light weight that he wears them as often as possible.

Just now he asked me to order another pair. They get 5 stars in our book!

My husband is not the type to say too much about any product. He just puts it on and goes. He just cannot shut-up about these boots. HE LOVES THEM!! He hikes pretty much everyday and everyday I hear how comfortable these boots are. He has never had a pair like them. I have a pair of Teva sandals and I like them very much. They are very comfortable and so I thought I would buy these boots for him. Well anyway he loves the boots and I probably am going to have to continue buying Teva's from here on out!!
