I live in Chicago so these have become a necessity. I use them to go to and from work and to take the dog for walks and to the dog park. They suit their purpose very well. The zipper on the side makes them very easy to take on and off. They are a little stiff at first but the more you wear them the more comfortable they get.

i just got these boots recently..i was looking for boots that were warm,waterproof and had good traction on the sole..winter hasnt arrived in boston yet but when it does i can wait to put these on..i hope the north face greenland will work on all three desription i had mention..i do have some issues w/this boots..they are bulky & heavy when u walk on them..maybe when u add snow & ice, it will give u that support u need when u dont want to fall down on ur butt..i did have some diffiulty putting them on..as for now these boots seemed to be cool..im still giving it a 5 stars cuz i really like them..

I love The North Face products! They are a little expensive but the quality is worth it. These boots are easy to put on. They run pretty true to size but if you are going to wear them with bulky socks you may want to size up a little. These are warm and dry and comfortable but I found they were hard to take off the first dozen or so times I wore them, since they fit a bit snug with socks. I wear a 9.5 and would have sized up to a 10 [...] They are waterproof and seem to hold up very well in heavy rain. It isn't cold enough here (yet!) to see how they do in temperatures in the -20 range, but I expect they will work just fine.[...]Overall, I love the boots [...] I will be back at this website buying my next pair of shoes in the spring!
